I have watched this show from the very beginning. And it was a great show till season 7. But after that it's comedy factor slowly started to fall and the quality of the show started to deteriorate. Season 12 is simply torture and the character of Raj is unbearable. But as Tom Hanks said in SNL, "Hey u have come this far."
