Not so big and bold but definitely baffling and confusing. Good actors, some decent action scenes and cinematography and that was where it ended for me. The story was very long and so twisted that I found it confusing right from the start. I may have found it less so if the sound had been better. There was often so much background noise that you couldn't actually hear the dialogue or the sound quality was just muffled and it was very hard to understand what was going on. I've seen it now. I wouldn't bother seeing it again and I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I love it but my husband doesn't. You have to be able to take this show for what it is - a well written and highly amusing bit of silliness. This is nothing like Vikings or Last Kingdom. If you want something that is more historically aligned and correct then watch those. If you have a real sense of the absurd then you will probably enjoy this.
