I think this is massively underrated, the concept of the film is so intriguing. How the prison system in the U.S can corrupt people so easily. Acting might be lacking in some parts, if this film was by a bigger director with a bigger actor this would be next level. That being said I love Nicolaj Coster-Waldau in this would recommend it to anyone.

Started strongly, finished badly. Only so much you can fit in within a 3 episode series. First two episodes classic Dracula, very dark, creepy and full of blood. However the final episode just did nothing for me, I didn’t like the modern twist and they turned the main protagonist/antagonist into quivering mess. BBC series are extremely hit and miss, His Dark Materials was far better.

Absolute disgrace of a TV show, Damon Lindelof clearly has next to no idea about any of the characters or story of the original book. Associating Rorschach with the KKK boggles the mind. Too much of this is to appeal to this new snowflake, sjw, woke group of people now. The story from the very first few scenes is just ridiculous, a lot of twists which make no sense and seem stupid. Gave up after episode 3. I thought after given how bad the film was this might be something different and new, but no. The people who have given this 5* are no doubt other people who have no grasp of the characters or story this Lindelof fella has shat on. If you like the book you won’t like this. So so bad.
