It is not for people who r impatient or get anxious easily. Its a bit of complex to be understood easily.....uhh itself need to figure out things.
It is actually a good movie but could have been directed better. Director came up with a out of box thought but should have taken more efforts towards explaining it.
Awkward and uncomfortable sums this movie up, not just for the viewer but it's also Scarlett appeared to feel throughout.... unless she was speaking her lines, she hardly looked like herself which left you begging her to speak more as it was the only time she seemed natural as the talented actress that she is.Speaking of "nothing to do with" were the scenes without Johansson in them, that seemed to never have anything to do with or actually contribute to the plot.
There is a strong dose of ambiguity in this movie. If you don’t like to figure things out for yourself, or interpret a story on your own, it ain’t for you. That’s not an insult, just a recommendation. I really enjoyed Under the Skin, apparently more than the average viewer. Lots of people will say it’s boring, but I think every scene has important development or symbolism that helps us understand the whole story. Additionally, even when the characters aren’t saying much, there is an intoxicating soundtrack and beautiful camerawork to create a FEELING for the viewer, which can be more important that dialogue. Some of the scenes from this movie made me hyper-aware of my human instincts. While watching “the beach scene,” it made me physically uncomfortable knowing that I was unable to help these people and could only watch. Scenes from this movie will stick with me for a long time. Once you start thinking critically about Under the Skin, you can’t seem to stop.
