I started reading this book after the Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns. It is not what I expected it to be as it is not just only the story of two siblings as the main characters but this book clearly shows the connection of other people and their influence on life. For instance we are the main characters of our life but the people around us has always left a great influence and impact on shaping our life. Characters like Idres, Taimur, Amra, Thalia, adel and Rodhana clearly show that everyone is fighting his own battle. Sometimes we are selfish and mean other times we are humble and full of devotion. The story of different characters depicts the different versions of life. Amazing piece of work
