I have been recently introduced to the movie 'John Wick' by a friend who recommended it based on the character of John Wick. Although I found the movie to be great for those who love action, I can't say that I loved the plot entirely. The basic premise of the movie is about John Wick going after a Russian gangster's son who had wronged him. Throughout the movie, we see John using various tactics to track down and take revenge on his enemy. We also get a glimpse into his life as a hitman and his interactions with others. The plot is well-intended to showcase John's rage and his motive for seeking revenge which is rightfully deserved. After all, they took away the last thing he remembered from his late wife. I believe the focus of this movie was to showcase the fight and highlight John's character in seeking justice for something he cherished. Will definitely watch the 2nd movie to see how John progresses. Overall great acting and fighting scenes.

One of the best animation series I have seen!! I love the wittiness, comedy, plot and romance for this show. It is safe for all users to watch! My only critiques are that Thomas should focus more on less obsessiveness when it comes to creating young teenage girls and/or focus more on the characters. I feel like the audience still doesn't understand the characters that well yet. The show is pretty fast-paced but I guess that's better than a drawn out show. Some of the episodes are a teeny tiny bit boring but I understand they are focused on the plot, it just feels a bit repetitive sometimes. TBH, I don't like how Ladybug treats Cat Noir sometimes!! Hoping to see some MAJOR character development between Marinette and Adrien for season 5. Most of the characters are fun and lovable and have their own flaws! I just wish they have more screen time or something, or that the director gives them more arc. The show is fast-paced where things are done rather quickly, so it'd be nice to see more focused for the other characters. For those wondering if this is worth watching--the answer is YES!! It is very much worth watching. Be careful because the episodes for Season 1 are out of order in NETFLIX, so google the episodes on Wikipedia.

One of the best series I have ever seen! It delivers a perfect amount of horror, suspense, and the plot is amazing. The only thing I find a bit unnecessary are the making out scenes and I'm talking about the one with Nancy and Steve. I find kissing okay but I don't want to see anything more than that. Also, I'd have liked to see clarity in Nancy's love life because I'm confused on who she has feelings for. She started off seeing Steve but then over time shifted to Johnathon, so I'm confused about their status. There wasn't a formal breakup between Nancy and Steve before she moved to Johnaton, or did she not date Steve at all? Nancy has denied Steve being her boyfriend, so there's that. Though the series itself isn't about romance, it would be nice if the writers can clarify this part. Or better yet, remove the whole romance altogether. Some scenes made me emotional, so well-done for delivering that. I also love the characters as well, but I do feel amount of frustration a lot when I was watching this, perhaps because I felt like there is a lot of miscommunications going on. I feel like the only person who doesn't really have a character (as much than others) is Will. From seasons 1-3 he was just this boy who was kidnapped and affected greatly by the monster. I can relate to him a bit of feeling "different." But I wonder if he lacks confidence or just really introverted. I have a hard time connecting to him than with the rest of the cast. Mike is supposedly the "leader," Dustin is the stereotypical nerd who is witty, Lucas is a reasonable one. And compared to them all, I'm very sure that Will is the black sheep. The three boys interacted with each other more. Will seems more closer to Mike, and I don't see much interaction with Will and Dustin or with Will and Lucas, except when they're all playing together. I AM pleased, however, to see more character change in Will in season 4. I see he talks much more and the focus isn't on him as much, but to something bigger.

I think the plot (from the book) is good, but I felt like the movie didn't focus too much on the plot, especially closer towards the end. Her family was close, but it's like they stopped trying to look into it? There was no justice. Half of the time I had no idea what was even happening. It felt like the movie focus more on Susie in the afterlife watching her family. It should've showed her family attempting to look into who F killed her. The F detective was useless and practically gave up when they couldn't find a lead. And now the killer died was just... no. He just had to die in the most... simple and stupid way possible. There was no justice for the previous women who were murdered. I do applaud everyone else's acting, especially Susie's. The expressions and gestures were on point. I just can't bring myself to love the film. It just got confusing and unrealistic towards the end. Thanks to the sister, she and their dad can help solve the murder. It was frustrating to see the murder get away with getting rid of evidence and living his life until he died. I'm disappointed!

This movie is based on a manga which for those who don't know is a Japanese comic. The manga is always better but don't let this discrete the fact that there are great movies; however, this doesn't hit the charts for me. Let's break it down. This movie is about a girl who's living with the school's "prince" after accidentally destroying his home. After spending some time with him she gets to see that he's not that bad of a person. Their relationship started off complicated at first and later on it gets tested with circumstances. And of course, the rest you will have to see how the romance unfolded. First, I like that the movie tries to stick to the plot, I can see some parts of the movie are based on the manga, but I wasn't a fan of the transitions because it leaves you questioning like "How did this get to this?" type of thing. Some parts at the beginning of the movie, I wasn't sure what was happening. Second, as mentioned, some transitions could use some work. For instance, how did Aoi (the movie's protagonist) started having feelings for Shusei (school's prince)? It felt like it happened out of the blue. Some things didn't quite make sense to me and it feels like the movie needed to happen in a way where it transitioned smoothly. Third, some of the acting is quite awkward. It doesn't seem like the acting matches the characters. For example, at the beginning with Aoi stopping Shusei. That part felt kinda cringe. Some parts were hard to watch because of the cringe. Some parts are quite exaggerated but I know it's Japan and some are for comedic effect. SPOILER ALERT: STOP READING HERE IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH THE MOVIE. Just a personal opinion, I didn't like the fact that Aoi cut her hair. It made her look like Shusei so it's weird to see them as a couple. Overall, it was an okay movie. I wouldn't watch it again nor recommended to anyone. I give it a 5/10.

So, two things to describe this movie: 1. Massimo 2. Sex I can see why this movie has some negative reviews, but in all honesty, I don't think it's that bad. The purpose of a movie is supposed to entertain, it wasn't like this is based on real life. It captures a sexual fantasy of what it would be like to be kidnapped by a hot mafia boss. In real life, it is obvious that kidnapping is a crime and nobody would be stupid enough to pull it off. I find it entertaining at the beginning as the plot builds up. At the same time, I can see that this movie creates unrealistic expectations, perhaps women want their beau to be more like Massimo (not surprising, he's hot!), someone who is dominating and alluring. I think people who give bad reviews need to chill out and not take the movie too seriously. The author who wrote the trilogy had the intention in mind to be it based on Fifty Shades of Gray so it wasn't supposed to be realistic, just pure erotica. But if I may add, I do think that the love that happened can be a bit more... practical? Massimo kidnapped Laura because she happened to be there when he saw her and it kinda feels a bit forced? I kinda wish maybe instead of kidnapping, maybe for the scenes to be based on fate happening or have Massimo approach Laura differently. The whole "kidnapping and having someone fall in love" does give off the vibes of Stockholm Syndrome, and the problem is that it's "okay" since Massimo is hot which, fairly enough, faces backlash. But, that is if we are speaking realistically. The whole purpose is to stimulate the sexual desire in the audience and letting that sexual fantasy coming true. It's every woman's dream to be dominated and it's every guy's dream to be able to dominate a woman. I certainly got excited to watch Massimo flaunting his attractiveness even if it is "unrealistic." That's what movies are all about! Entertainment, sexual fantasies, horror, etc. So have some imagination and enjoy this movie! Looking forward for the next sequeal!

I had to watch this movie for a drama class. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. At first, I thought it would be boring and some parts were confusing, but as I watched deeper I find myself getting surprised, shy, and hooked on some parts. I loved the chemistry between William and Viola and how they were bold enough to carry their love despite the circumstances surrounding them. There is also a touch of light comedy as well. Although I do think that tragedy can be tagged as well, maybe the film isn't as tragic enough to be tagged? As someone who is a sucker for romantic comedy films, Shakespeare in Love hits differently than any other romantic comedies I've seen, perhaps it is because it's a romantic historic film and I don't usually watch historic movies. This is definitely not for school, perhaps some teachers showed it for educational purposes, but there is sexual activity and partial nudity, hence why it's rated R. If you were not to mind the sexual scenes, you will find that the film itself is worth watching. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the ending. This film is more romantic than comedy, in my opinion, with a touch of tragedy. It focuses on two people carrying on their affair perhaps unbeknownst to where the future will take them. I was really surprised when they chose a handsome actor to play Shakespeare! Wonder if that could mean that Shakespeare was a handsome lad in his youth? For some reason, Paltrow, the actress who plays Viola, had received backlash for having an Oscar for this movie, I wasn't sure why. I thought she did excellent in this movie. And more backlash at this movie for beating Saving Ryan's Pirates. I haven't seen the film but I cannot judge... The public is more interested in romantic movies and I suppose the huge chemistry between the two lead characters is what top the film. The plot and storyline are fantastic; the comedy is good, made me chuckle a bit; the romance is phenomenal, I squealed so hard lol. I think it's fair for one to mention that it's overrated, but it takes creativity and imagination to come up with something like this! I gave it 5 stars because the plot is pretty good, but my overall rating is at least a 4.5/5 at most because I didn't like the ending. Hope this helps if anyone is interested in watching! I'll definitely watch it again but in years time since I watched it like twice already lol.
