Boring senseless mindless use of CGI monsters doesn't make a monster movie a hit. Bad lightning makes it an eyesore. Extremely bad storytelling and character development makes you disinterested in the plot and the characters. Being a fan of early kaiju and godzilla movies, it makes me sad to see this franchise being used as a easy money grab from it's fans.
AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.
