I could watch this show all night long. As if it's not enough to see these wonderful devoted craftsmen and women going about their business with such enthusiasm and care you also get to hear the wonderful stories from the people whose articles are submitted for repair and renovation. To be able to bring back life and character to the items is a super gift and I am grateful to the team for sharing the techniques with the viewing public which I find absolutely fascinating. The stories are always heartwarming and the emotion shown by the owners of the goods is touching and obviously genuine. The ambiance of the workshop is very appropriate and the setting adds a gentle rural refinement to the presentation of the series. Jay is an amicable host and the crafts people are all pleasant and friendly as is the softly spoken but informative voice-over. The production and editing are also done well with each item given a fair proportion of time and importance.
