I wanted to see this movie so i could understand why this film got so much backlash. Finally seeing it, I really enjoyed watching it and thought it was a great heartfelt story. This movie had so many meanings behind it! It made me smile, laugh and it even had me in tears. Im aware the controversy of this movie, but i disagree with the hate that the movie is getting. What I learned is that every autistic person is different. Not every autistic person will act like music. Music to me was a happy child full of love and happiness. I believe it put a positive, uplifting light on autism. Sia wrote this to be a loving happy story with no malicious intention at all. She did a fantastic job at shining a light on problems happening in the world today. Kates voice is amazing , the acting is awesome, and the music is entertaining and fun. I love Kate singing music that song is beautiful.The dancing , singing of the imaginary thought scenes were beautiful too. This whole movie is really about love. Music needs love, zu needs love, ebo needs love. In the end they came together . People should stop trying to find the negatives of this film but instead actually find the meaning behind it and maybe they’ll enjoy it.
