As one who grew up on the original cartoon movie Lion King I had really high hope after seeing the trailer of the 2019 remake version. I will say the concept and the visuals were really amazing but the characters overly relaxed, and dry energy was a bummer. If you watched the original and watch the 2019 you will get where I’m going with this. The energy the characters had in the original movie were on all high and you can hear it in the voices. Whereas the 2019 version all the characters seem bored and to relaxed. The energy in their voices wasn’t there and that for me killed the movie. But again the visuals were really nice though. Just next time if you decide to remake a classic movie Iike that you should really consider bringing the same energy or more as the original.
