Despite an impressive cast and some clever twists, this movie just felt sort of 'meh' to me, utterly forgettable as soon as you leave the theatre. I would recommend that people just wait a few months until it comes out on a streaming platform.

The good cast and excellent scenery/set dressing is not enough to save this show from lackluster writing and unlikeable characters. This is Wednesday Addams and the Addams Family Universe as viewed though a CW filter: pretty to look at, but lacking any real substance or interest.

I've watched the first four episodes of this show and I didn't find it particularly amusing. However, I may be biased as I've watched the BBC original, which has longer episodes and not quite as frantic pacing. Because of this, they can take time to flesh out all the characters. However, I feel I have to give props to the American production's actors. I think they're doing as best they can with what they've been given. That's why I'm giving this show 2 stars and not just one.

Although visually striking, with decent voice acting, the individual episodes left me feeling unsatisfied. The overall arc, and it's conclusion in episode 9, felt hamfisted and dull. I think the show might have worked better if it had stuck to the done-in-one episodes, with clear resolutions, and not attempted an overarching story arc.

I have no idea why I watched all six episodes of this show. Perhaps I was hoping that the characters would grow and become better people? Or, at the very least, more interesting. That didn't happen. Overall, the entire show was just 'meh.'

Perhaps if the movie had featured original songs instead of rehashed pop hits, it would have been better. As it is, the movie feels like a very amatuerish production, like something you would see from a high school drama department. Not even the presence of Idina Menzel could save this movie.

Snake Eyes has an excellent cast, but that doesn't save it from being a very generic, very dull action movie. At one point, I pulled out my phone to check the time, and started playing games because the narrative on the screen just wasn't that interesting. If you want to see this, I would recommend waiting until it comes to the small screen.

This movie wasn't just bad, it was boring. It's the sort of movie that I'd pass on watching if it came on network television. I wouldn't even consider it good enough for background noise. Do yourself a big favor and watch something else.

I was hoping for more, given the quality of the cast, but was sadly disappointed. I found the movie lackluster and tedious, which is fairly typical of Disney's live-action remakes. It certainly isn't worth the $30 price tag that Disney wants you to pay.
