It is a very compelling watch with absolutely stellar (pun intended) performances from several cast members. The pacing of the show is excellent and will keep you glued for several episodes at a time.
The earth story lines do get a bit cheesy and certainly fall into stereotypical and predictable drama arcs but they are not altogether unpleasant.
