This movie is quite possibly one of the worst that marvel has produced to date. I was not going to watch this film initially due to how catastrophic venom 1 turned out. However, my love for the great tom hardy drug me into the AMC. After watching the first 5
Minutes, we’re introduced to a character named screech. The scene was incredibly poor and I could find better acting talent at your local high school theater arts program. Nonetheless, we are given no backstory on this character as well as her boyfriend (the serial killer/carnage). As the movie went on it was incredibly confusing where this plot seemed to be taking me. Multiple cut scenes that occurred with no relevance to the film or plot by any means. Terrible acting and not to mention an awfully dry and unfunny comedy angle they seemed to take with venom. To enjoy this movie in the slightest, the viewer must forget all preconceived notions of venom being this cold blooded killer and monster. Venom: Let there be carnage would have received far less than a rating of 1 star if google made that possible. The only thing I halfway enjoyed in this movie was some of the cgi and the prison break from carnage. Other than that, this movie looked like an amateur Indy festival film that had no idea what they were doing with the plot but you got through it because your popcorn tasted alright and your coke was carbonated well.
