Definitely a lot better than people are going to give it credit for. A surprisingly fun film. Camila is truly charismatic in her film debut, Idina kills it here as the stepmother, and Billy is an absolute scene stealer as the Fab G. The performances are lively and so entertaining to watch, and the campiness adds to the charm. Would definitely recommend watching this with popcorn surrounded by friends or family! Critics got this one wrong y'all - not everything needs to be Oscar bait.
