Dave Mustaine makes it look easy, effortlessly flexing one banging riff after another. This is Megaseth at the peak of their powers, drawing from a seemingly bottomless pit of world class riffs, masterfully arranged into a bombastic 35 minutes of shredders delight. Power, aggression and deeply emotional at times, this is a must-have for anyone with even a passing interest in progressive thrash metal.

Delivering hugely on the promise shown by the previous ‘Killing is my business..’ LP. This album is full of absolute bangers, from the rollercoaster thrill ride of Wake Up Dead to the brooding, building epic masterpiece that is Good Mourning/Black Friday, there’s not a dull moment or a weak spot anywhere to be found. Absolutely necessary for anyone’s metal collection.

A little uneven but there’s a ton of great riffs, shredding solos and inventive transitions hinting at the genius lurking beneath the scrappy production. Well worth a listen, for there are some truly sublime moments scattered throughout its blistering half-hour runtime.
