Intro: Two stars, just because of great performances by the cast (except Abhishek Bachchan, which I'll come to later) and the commendable technicals. Otherwise, I think the director and the editing team slept in between and when they woke up, it was too late.
Acting: Abhishek Bachchan's debut act in a web series might turn out to be the last one. He's good in some scenes, but mostly he's lacking to emote. It makes me remind why he couldn't follow his father's footsteps. Amit Sadh, and his team of two sub-inspectors, have delivered one of their best performances. All the supporting cast is good too.
Direction and Screenplay: Starting with the screenplay, won't say much, however, what needs to be said is that the whole series could've been finished in 10 episodes, at max.
Direction has so many shortcomings, it seemed like too much to handle. Giving credit where it's due, some moments were appreciable and kept the momentum alive. Nonetheless, the direction team didn't forget to disappoint every now and then.
Story: It's the biggest let down in this one. Mythology, psychology, emotions and everything the writers could think about for a "crime thriller", they used them all. I couldn't understand why, though.
Everything else: Background score is good but forceful. It's been added in some scenes unnecessarily, only to remind the viewers it's a thriller. Technicals are damn good, in every way.
To conclude, don't waste your 9 hours or 540 minutes (approx.) on this disappointment. If actually the web series was about saving the family, then Aarya did a better job.
