Great game, semi-great community. The only bad thing about this game is the amount of bugs generated by laggy players. I believe they should have worked a bit harder on making laggy players to not have a huge advantage in combat. I hate in fist fights when I am attempting to block and instead its just a buggy mess of hits going through each other and random block animations playing. Long story short, buy this for 5 dollars, or just buy the full game for the story.

Best assassins creed game in existence. All games past this except for brotherhood wish they were as good as this game. I'll never forget the fun times my cousin and I would have talking to eachother while playing it. I highly recommend this game over the newer assassin creeds.

When I was younger I used to wake up at 4 AM every day before the bus came for school to play for an hour or so. This game was by far one of the best Assassin creed's I had ever played. You can fight with dual hidden blades in hand-to-hand combat, with really sick counter attacks that makes Edward feel like an actual badass and on-par with Ezio. Story is amazing and grips your emotions and takes you on a roller coaster so much so that you will be sad when you finish the game. I highly recommend this game for anyone who wants similar gameplay of the older assassins creed without losing it's core values. P.S. Legacy outfits contain Ezio's outfit and Altair's. In order to obtain these you must have played AC 1 or AC: Brotherhood.

Combat is terrible, worse than unity, all enemies are like sponges. 5 foot girl hits a 6 foot tall buff guy with a cane and he flies 2 feet up in the air, this really turned me off of even remotely enjoying this game. To sum the combat up, it is extremely cartoony and disgusting, AC Unity's combat was better, and that's saying a lot. Story seemed interesting at first but as I started playing it got less and less interesting, no emotional attachment to characters, you cannot switch through weapons like AC 1-4, it's basically non lethal combat with a mix of lethal. For example, using your fists you finish off the enemy with hidden blades, but you don't fight with a bladed weapon. Bought this in a pack of AC games for 22 dollars, worst 22 dollars I spent and I wish I bought the ezio pack instead. To make a long story short, do not waste your money on this piece of garbage and buy AC 1-4, nothing past that unless you want to be extremely disappointed and unsatisfied. P.S. The only legacy outfits in this game is Ezio's outfit, but you can't wear the hood unless you're in sneak mode.

Parkour is great, graphics are stunning. But story and combat is extremely lacking. What happened to being able to select between weapons? - picking up weapons off of dead enemies or using your bare fists to disarm and fight enemies. This game has nothing relating to the other games (referring to combat and story), in some ways this game has the worst combat in any AC game I have ever played in my entire life. All AC games up to black flag had great combat. It was fluid, and it made you feel like the character you were playing was special and a badass assassin that people were afraid of. AC unity takes that all away and makes you feel like you're playing a loser in his mom's dress. Want to parry? Good luck, it only works 80% of the time and sometimes it doesn't even count it at all, allowing enemies to kill you with nothing you can do. Want to throw a smoke bomb while in combat so you can run? Nope. That again only works half the time. Want to fight more than two people? No. Good luck parrying 5 attacks done at almost exactly the same time. AC Black flag did wonderfully with the counters if you were fighting groups of people, if more than 1 attacked at the same time you could counter them both at the same time and finish them both off, this game has nothing like that! WHY!? Story was lame and didn't really let you form any emotional ties to the characters because of the lack of the objective of what you were doing. I will not go into the story any further because of spoilers, but you get the point. The storywriting was terribly bad. Why 2 stars? A star for the parkour and another for the graphics. Everything else was terrible but could have been drastically improved had they continued using the tried and true beautiful combat mechanics in all the previous games.
