I am not one to overly criticize because I believe in seeing the beauty in every creative endeavor, but I tried and tried really hard to see something meaningful about this movie and failed to do so. The characters' bickering epitomizes the sense of self-entitlement of some people, what with their push-button world always making their lives convenient--well, not in the savannah where self-entitled humans are fair game. Almost from the start, you'd want the whole bunch to be ripped into pieces just because it is going to be so gratifying. The plot lends to incredulity in full measure---mauled by a leopard and bathe in blood would kill any person in a matter of minutes, yet one of them survives the blood loss. That's the kind of goings-on in this movie that have been displayed all throughout. If anything, bringing to fore the illegal wildlife trade is about the only good thing about this movie, which, if you think about it, this movie's budget would've been better put to good use creating a docufilm instead.
