1. The storyline is a deviation from the original Mahabharat, widely reprinted by Gita Press Gorakhpur. BR Chopra's Mahabharat was exactly as documented.
2. Unnecessary logic has been added in places, to generate interest.
3. Characters don't age. Only their hair greys, maturity remains the same.
4. Except for the main characters, others seem frustrated that they couldn't bag the main roles.
5. The overuse of technology shadows dialogue delivery.
6. The overuse of makeup cancels the originality of character.
7. The overuse of music demeans the underlying emotion.
8. Most Important: RIP Hindi Grammar (sic)
