Slow, slow and slower. Some parts are interesting and too much is predictable. But slow just to stretch it out and make the most of scenes to lower the overall cost of production. And did I mention. . . slow. . . ?

This is Dune lite. Lots of filler with little substance. The 1st Dune had more layers and depth to it.
