The movie looks good. It sounds good. But doesn't feel good.
First of all, everyone versed with the vampire lore, knows about Dracula. So, when such a very well-known story is picked, there is very little room for improvisation in script. The onus then rests with the actors to make such an effort successful.
Sadly, this movie tries to tinker with the original story. Also there is not much character development. Although the actors are capable they are not handled well. The creature also looks and acts generic.
Besides, the movie is full of inconsistencies. The only thing consistent is the lack of logic and common sense, prevalent in the western horror movies. There is no clarity regarding the abilities of the creature. Also, the vampire acts like a street thug too. Now, if the thing can fly, it can fly to London, can't it!!!
I rate it two stars, because I was not particularly irritated at any of the actors.
Verdict: A one time watch, at best.
