Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill has a score of 85% in Rotten tomatoes. And this cheap, malfunctioning useless garbage has a rotten tomato score of 96%. Now you know how honest and capable the so called movie critics are.
Now coming to the audience score, all that I can say is that during a famine hungry people often rate anything chewable as the best food they have ever eaten. Hollywood has been producing garbage for much too long.
This movie has nothing but just two people talking. It is slow and obviously suffer from the lack of quality editing. The story is pretty basic and cliched, but the director uses deliberate misdirection, misrepresentation and skips portions regularly to keep it "interesting". They call the somewhat reasonable but stupid guy "the demon" and the villain "the lady". They waste tons of time, but none of the characters get a proper introduction due to the director's incompetence at telling a coherent story. And the so called twist is visible from miles away if you have a pair of functioning eyes. So let me tell you the story.
In a town where there is no police to talk about, a serial killing woman kills some more. And as in any horror movie, the characters are dumb. The end.
Anyone who says that this movie is comparable to what Tarantino makes, has not seen a Tarantino movie.
Verdict: Explore movies from other industries. Don't settle for garbage like this.
