this was genuine art. i had never really thought much of video games until the last of us. (spoiler) it was so different from other stories in the way that it showed both sides of the fight as the protagonist. it made you feel for both abby and ellie; mad at both characters for what they were doing and sad for both of their losses. the game left me shattered and questioning what i would do if i was on either side. incredible writing from naughty dog
