Finished this book today . It was actually really disappointing and I can’t understand the good reviews . I feel compelled to submit a review based on the fact how dreadful it was . The story line initially seemed intriguing and I was very much looking forward to the read. What in fact presented was a convoluted plot which turned out to be uninteresting and lacking in depth or intrigue with a totally implausible ending . There was a racist incident involving a bacon sandwich chucked in for good measure ( probably because it is a subject that is topical at present ) which had no bearing on the story line and was completely out of context with the plot . This book is not getting passed on to anyone else but going in the bin. Sorry !
