I am 64, I grew up with Mr. Eastwood, even some John Wayne but I was pretty young then. I loved westerns and still do but a good one is very rare these days. I mean no disrespect in anything I say but I have to say I only watched about 30 min of this Cry Macho movie. I was pretty sure going in but it's obvious right off Mr. Eastwood isn't playing a 90 yr old ex-cowboy rodeo star in this movie. Not even a 80 or 70 yr old cowpoke I think...I can't tell what age he is supposed meant to be but sadly I have to say it was painful to watch him in this role. I imagine he looks amazing for a 90 yr old..even an 80 yr old but that's it. When I looked at the reviews the first thing I looked for was why he was still starring and directing in movies. He said he doesnt think about it. The correct answer must be, cuz he can. Cuz his name still gets enough seats filled. It's Warner Bros for goodness sake. Does he own some of it? If he still gets big ticket sales then who am I to say. I don't want him to quit living...but maybe stay behind the camera and do a bit part for his name recognition..give an aging actor in his 60's the part, I could still pass as a cowboy tough guy..well, maybe that's my ego saying I can as well. Congratulations Mr. Eastwood.
