Like many others I've grown up with mortal kombat and have long waited for a R rated film. It did hit so many nostalgic moments and the gore and special effects were solid. The major problem for me was it felt like the movie was a bit too Cole focused. Overall though it was enjoyable and I look forward to future of the franchise.
