There is an interesting series of short stories found with in the movie, but in my opinion, no definable beginning, middle or end. A movie like this should be watched many times because it might be the only movie you'd need to watch. The worst nightmare you could have or whatever your mind can find within the film. I am still looking. I will be watching it again.
