I'm not sure why this only got a 64% on RT. I think this one of the best movies I've seen in a long time! Story and acting is solid!

I am an old school Godzilla fan and I loved the 2014 film. I thought this one was highly entertaining. I agree that there are some scenes where a lot of the monster fights are dark and hard to make out, but there were a few scenes that actually brought tears to my eyes because I was so happy to see Godzilla on the warpath. A lot of the critics are just plain getting this wrong. 40% on RT? Seriously? When I saw it yesterday and as soon as it ended, people stood up and cheered. That doesn't sound like a bad movie to me!
