Ok, the Willow movie has always held a special place in my heart, but this show is terrible. For one, the modern music completely threw me off. Willow takes place in a medieval fantasy world, and the modern music from our real world really feels like the director was desperate for attention. Secondly, I am a part of the community, and I fully support LGBTQ in cinema, but Disney has this really bad way of "vomiting" what they think people want to see. It's like looking up a product once, then any time you browse the internet or watch YouTube, you're force-fed that product regardless if you bought it or not. They portray a lesbian couple at a farm, and it felt extremely stereotypical, and the characters were killed off, and they really contributed nothing to the plot. Then even more lesbian drama from a couple of the main characters. As I've said, I am a progressive, but this show has clearly lost it's way in including much of our world political correctness with a made up fantasy world. There's also so much unnecessary dialogue and bad/dry jokes. This felt like made for TV SciFi channel garbage, and left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Disney needs to bury this one in my opinion.
