Acting, photography and costumes excellent. History however is not fully accurate ! Mary was older than Ann ! It was Mary that actually went to the French Court! The film makes out Ann being older, twisting the story on its head for theatrical licence! The film script is also a little messed up in Places and is simplified but still manages to confuse the watcher
