After Infinity War I didn’t think any marvel movie could top it in terms of action, and then comes Endgame and my thoughts were right. Endgame focused to heavily on dilemmas and complicated time scenarios. A rough guess but I believe at least 2 hours and 20 minutes were focused on a nostalgic blast from the past of the marvel movies. But this slowed the tempo of the movie. You barely saw the main villain, the most powerful being in the universe was not given enough screen time and didn’t feel as threatening. I can understand why this movie will be given praise for the emotional side. But in my personal opinion I thought this entire movie was overthought, a bitter sweet ending.
