A flop. Confusing and overly long, it guarantees little more than viewer fatigue.

Clint is too old to be playing such a cliched role. A big disappointment.

A delightful, predictable light comedy designed for and about seniors. The acting was superb.

This is better than average cultural and political satire. But it’s badly flawed by being too long and riddled with quirky and pointless film editing. Moreover, the male lead was miscast, Streep as the President was unconvincing, and the cheap shots against conservatives detract from the madcap script. Entertaining but unimportant.

A very long crime thriller with much violence and sex and a plot that was confusing. Just the thing for American audiences. Basinger, by the way, was one of the world’s most beautiful women.

This is a Robert DeNiro put down of the CIA. It’s a well made movie, far too long, and preachy. Poor Matt Damon has to pretend to be constipated throughout. Still, adequate entertainment.

Very Hollywood: the language, the racial balance in the cast, the inevitable sex scene, the wooden pretense that the pretty actors were scientists…unconvincing all. But the technical stuff is good, even convincing. But this is far from Alien. It’s really an ancestor of the Bowery Boys in the haunted house. Made for teens.

Much to do about a maniacal woman who swims and swims. It’s like a hundred Esther Williams movies. Benning and Foster are truly marvelous.

A dreadful but important film about gangsters killing each other. You want a bath when it’s all over.
