Very disappointed. Contrary to the so-called expert critics, this movie lacked in so many areas. Considering all the Oscar-worthy performances given by Tom Hanks over his remarkable career, I was embarrassed for Mr Hanks to have participated in this mediocre film. The only reason it warrants three stars is to recognize the wonderful acting by the young Helena Zengel. Otherwise the characters are poorly developed and the actors are mostly unconvincing in their roles. Director Greengrass really missed the mark in knowing when a scene captured the moment. I have to ask, didn't any of the support staff have the courage to scream out loud, this thing sucks!!! Some fools are comparing this movie to Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven. This movie isn't even close. Save your money and your image of Tom Hanks as always delivering a great performance.
