I loved it until the third last and penultimate episodes. The injection of identity politics was just too much. I like to be transported when I watch a programme. I mean come on, a wrestler complaining that he has to cut his dreadlocks and then the comment "oh these rules are outdated because they're based on when only white people could wrestle". I can tell I'm not the only one that got sick of the identity politics garbage being injected towards the end of the series. The ratings dropped off as well. It was so bad in the penultimate, I didn't even bother tuning in for the final. What's the point? So I can be lectured to about how evil white people or white men are?
