My favourite book as a 9/10 year old young girl. I read and re read that book over and over again. Now my 10 year old son is reading it in school for his English lessons and its bringing back lovely memories. Top of my shopping list. Looking forward to reading it again. Beautifully written and I can still picture the garden in my head as I imagined it as a child. A classic.
