Wondrous...!!! I've watched it three times! It is a more mature and serious adaptation than the Disney versions. But it is a must see. The trailer drew me in, and the actor that plays Mowgli is beautiful aestically as emotionally in his acting. The two small things that I find odd and or peculiar is why would a hyena be in a jungle, and a groveling accomplice to a tiger? I've never seen that on Animal Planet. And even in the Disney versions, Wolves in a jungle? I guess that is possible in remote areas of east Asia. Again, I enjoyed it, it is well done, and my new preferred version of the legend.
