If you feel like reading subtitles for an entire tv episode possibly missing the finer details of the actors performances then this is the show for you. Clearly there is an attempt here to do a “shogun” type show but honestly it falls short. Too many artsy shots that serve no purpose whatsoever. Yea it’s impressive the actors dedication to speak the language but in all honesty it distracts from the story , at least it was for me. I kept hoping the dialogue would merge into English. A trick some showmakers have done to great effect. But I just came away from the first episode disappointed and tired. Hard pass for me, sorry.

I had high hopes that since guy richie was involved in this but honestly it looks like he took the apple money and phoned in his effort. Kanaka and Portman are a horrible combination and are poor choices for the characters. Honestly this is just slop and high cost low quality slop that should have never been made. Nick cage’s national treasures are a far better alternatives for your time.

A disjointed, poorly written story that suffers with a bad script that can’t be rescued by even the likes of Chris Evans or JK Simmons. Performances were called in. Special effects were badly implemented and so much of the plot just doesn’t make any sense. I didn’t care about any of the characters. The plot was moronic. As an adult themed Christmas movie it face planted hard into pavement. So many missed opportunities.

Seemingly going for a more adult theme. It’s clear more money is being spent on this than it’s predecessor. But… This is still the same old zombie romp that (pardon the pun) will never die. It’s old It’s dull It’s boring It’s done.

An overly slow and meandering movie that spends far too much time over emphasizing how “ moody “ and mysterious the main characters are instead of just getting on with telling the story. There are some real talent in the movie that is ultimately wasted on a lack luster script. And a story that was akin to pulling teeth. If you have literally anything else to do, e.g. paint a wall, take your dog for a walk or read War and Peace . I will guarantee it will be a more pleasure able experience than watching this garbage.

Disappointing. The show would have had far more traction 10 years ago but not in 2021
