Book was so much better. they condensed and omitted too many details. Book was a great read, a great trip back to the 80s. Wish they had followed the book closer.

This movie SUUUUCKED! If I wanted to watch singing and dancing in a crime show, I would have looked for Cop Rock reruns. It hurt to watch the main character swinging on lampposts like Footloose or Glee. Just awful.
