Great show but I think the music choice especially for season 3 distracts me and detracts from the actual mood and what is going on in the story. The concept of "modernizing" an era is interesting, however, it doesn't allow the audience to be completely immersed in the plot because their ear is being reminded that they're not in that time. There's so much good music to choose from that can make the show appeal to a younger audience. But I can't focus on Lidia stressing about her baby when there's a girl belting out indie lyrics with a guitar playing in the background.
