Some of you have never been around young kids and it shows - I really don’t understand the people complaining about Gabi being annoying/obnoxious when she’s an accurate potrayal of a kid her age. (Plus it’s done in a comedic and exaggerated way) Soundtrack and visuals were great and the movie has a super distinct style to it. I do wish they had cast actual cubans for Vivo and the others but at least they cast latin voice talents for the latin characters. I’m also a bit tired of Lin Manuel Miranada being *the* Hollywood latino they get for every film but he did a great job as the voice of Vivo. Overall it’s a fun wholesome film that doesn’t take itself all that serious while still having emotional scenes. Representation is pretty good but could have been better and the music was great :)
