Viscerally gripping from beginning to end, 1917 is a true cinematic experience. The story is simple and captivating, the actors believable in their roles, and the score is incredibly tense, but the real standout is the utterly breathtaking cinematography. Visually, the movie draws you right into the action and NEVER lets go.
