Lady Gaga has ruined this movie!!! I have to wonder if there would have been so much singing and dancing if she wasn't apart of this movie. I am writing this an hour in and I am dreading watching the rest, Oh my God it's so boring. Why did they throw in all of these old show tunes?? Where is the action? I would have passed if I knew that it was turned into a musical!!! I am so upset that both lead actors actually read their scripts and thought people would enjoy this!!! Plus, the how they met love story sucks! Joker did nothing and I mean absolutely nothing but walk by at the right time and Gaga was like a dog in heat over him and signed herself in just to meet him. 🤦🏾‍♀️ You can't make this up how awful and excruciatingly boring this movie is. 🤦🏾‍♀️ No development of their love, just some groupie stalking him hardcore and connected with him while he was vulnerable. I definitely would not recommend anyone waste their time watching this garbage. Joaquin had a good thing going until she came along, and I say this as a hopeless romantic. 🤦🏾‍♀️😂😂😂😂

I didn't like it, I guess there wasn't much of a connection. It should have been better. I love Joseph Quinn as Eddie on Stranger Things but I felt like they didn't write the script very well. His character just popped up out of nowhere, and I didn't feel much of a connection with Lupita as the lead actress, although I do love her as an actress. The way they were just thrown together was weird, so it caused mixed feelings. I get it people bond in a crisis. But there was nothing about the previous family that we grew to love and this was a completely different set of characters. I love that Djimon Hounsou from Amnistad was present but his role was too small, very brief. They should have provided his character with a backstory, but nope! They didn't care enough about his character to do that. Just pay that man what he is worth! Epic fail in my opinion, and sadly I didn't care enough about these other characters. Everyone was rooting for the cat, so 2 stars for the cat in my opinion.

Love it! So addictive! Romeo & Juliet but with a Vampire and a Witch. Reminds me a little of the Twilight love story. Forbidden love but with magic and special effects.
