Silly and stuck together with the laziest fantasy tropes. Not a word is spoken that isn't a ridiculous cliche. Having gay, black, female and people of restricted growth as the heroes is splendid but also lazy. In between the awful dialogue there is a lot of ' wa-ching, ergh, wa-ching'. Seen it all before.

I give it 2 stars, not through any merit of its own, but, because so much of Hollywood's output is even worse. Sandra Bullock looks immaculate throughout her rehab process. A process which has the same apparently long serving 'wacky' patients when she arrives see her off at the end, therefore making a mockery of the film's title. Those patients are poorly rendered, inexplicably random, characters including a German homosexual who cries incessantly, an angry, myopic, self- tracheostomied doctor and someone whose personality trait is that they wear a hat. It tries to be too many things and as a consequence achieves none of them, including a study into lifting horses' feet.
