The rise of skywalker fails to deliver on the big questions of the previous two movies. The pacing is bad as it feels like JJ tried to cram two movies into one and this doesn’t work. Every character with the exception of Kylo Ren are butchered. Rey is too overpowered and removes any suspense from the movie. Finn has done nothing for the last two movies and Po becomes a jerk to everyone. The positives I take from this film is Adam Driver and Ian macDiarmid excell in performance and some of the scenes looked visually pleasing. Coming out of this movie you realised Disney had no clear plan on where to take the trilogy, something the prequels did better
