As with many others, my wife and I have been Jeopardy fans for years...Alex was an icon as a host, as a concierge, as an ambassador for the show and many other worthy causes. He was an unassuming gentleman! Unfortunately, the producers have forgone the excellence in his art of hosting when Mayim Bialik was tapped for a co-host. She presents a pretentious, self-centered and distracting persona. She competes with the contestants for attention and can be condescending. Alex had no problems with pronunciation of names or terms in the questions or answers. And his grammar was impeccable! Not so with Bialik, We have counted many instances of errors in her pronunciation and grammar. We consider Jeopardy to be a cerebral competition, a quality that distinguishes the show from other 'game shows'. Mayim Bialik's talent does not rise to the level to be a Jeopardy host. Nor does her appearance (wardrobe and hair). Let her return to her world of shallow sitcoms and make Ken Jennings to permanent host before Jeopardy's ratings suffer because of her. I cannot give a 5-star rating as long as she has a role with Jeopardy.
