Loved it. The style, the characters, the swag, the cast, the beautiful melanin, JIM! I loved how its an age old story but they found ways to retell it without it solely being about representation (which is laudable, by itself), but to craft a humorous, fraught narrative with high stakes, on top of that is so brilliant. The soundtrack was stellar! Especially that fight scene between the ladies- fantastic. The cinematography was spectacular as well. I honestly cant say enough good things about it, and am definitely rewatching tomorrow. I typically hate gore, but even this was tolerable. Greatly entertaining.

Its almost like a Black Girl SATC or a Living single reboot. I love the cast of characters and their chemistry / camaraderie and cant wait to see how their stories develop
