I'm surprised this film isn't more highly recommend. I enjoyed almost every aspect of it and wish I'd seen it sooner. I wouldn't describe it as a 'must watch' but for 94 minutes of excellent entertainment it gets my vote. All the leads are quite strong and the storyline is an interesting take on a tale many will remember well. Not perfect, but definitely enjoyable.

Getting on for 15 years old, The Pursuit of Happyness still stirs the emotions and leaves the viewer satisfied, if not a little tearful too. Easier to watch than Seven Pounds, Will Smith and the talented directors behind his movies produced a 'must watch' film, inspired by a true story of rags to riches. Throughout, it's hard not to be totally engaged in the story and I recommend you don't miss a thing. This is the film people tend to remember more than Seven Pounds but to never see both would be missing out on two dazzling movies.
