I'm 39 minutes in. I don't think I'm going to make it. First I can't get past the blonde's character. To simplify it she is a very annoying. She is unemotional when she should be and over the top and whiny when it's unnecessary. The rest of the time on screen there are no facial movements or inflections in her voice. The acting, on her part, is pretty detached. There is no attempt to make a real connection with the viewer. The story line is stretched, at least in the movie it is. I'm not sure if this movie is a thriller, suspense or horror but it is neither. Overall I enjoyed writing this review more than watching.

I can't believe these reviews. If you like the Halloween movie(s), there is no way you could not appreciate Zombie's version. The plot answers questions to complete it's story line, so it's quite fulfilling. The directing, the acting, the timeliness never felt rushed or shorthanded.

I was searching for something to watch. I came across the summary of this limited series. "Eh, sounds like every other drama/romance that will help me kill some time, I like Zoe Saldana", I said to myself. I won't be able to say enough about this film. Within the first episode I was escorted back into time, guided to learn about and eventually feel the memories of our heroine and share them with her. The actors were in sync and at their very best, each and every single one of them! If you want a great love story that will bring you equal amount of happiness and heartache, you can not miss this. You will be touched and very satisfied.

Just because the concept of a movie has been, previously, made does not mean that it has been offered to us the same way. It happens all the time with movies, music, fashion... Why the harsh criticism? Maybe my expections were already low because of the low ratings but I liked this movie, very much. The acting was great, the direction was creative, the set design was spot on and to the point. I would say that this movie does not belong in a "horror" genre but more of a casual fun, suspense that builds until the end. Maybe I'll go back and read about what I was supposed to dislike about this movie or maybe I won't and enjoy it anyway.

Worth the watch. Great acting! Realistic plot, believable characters, slow but not dull. Probably predictable but well done.

It wasn't your run of the mill, typical movie, this alone kept my interest. I thought the movie was uncomfortably fun to watch and offers that tinge of creepiness.

It's like everyone was running around playing the wrong parts. Individually, each of these actors could be good but in combination, there was zero chemistry. Nearly every part of this movie was cheesy, the dramatic parts, the flirty-sext parts, the emotional (emotionless) parts, the bad guy talking to the kid parts...you get it.
