Compared to the original in 1984, the story is bland. This 2021 release doesn't even get the whole way through the original storyline. Don't waste your money. Watch it when it becomes free.

I was invested in every character! This is a well written movie. Amongst the producers are Brad Pitt. I had wondered around netflix trying out shows I'd never seen. I really, really enjoyed my 2+ hours invested in this movie! There is violence. I would not recommend to anyone under 13.
