I absolutely loved the movie. Ranveer Singh is fab even if he is a bit OTT at times. Alia looks like an angel and acts like a firebrand. The best thing about this movie is not the main cast, but the stellar performance by the supporting starcast. Loved each and every one of them.

Movies like Mulk need to be seen by everyone. Hard-hitting and relevant, this film is all about the prejudices we cloud ourselves with when it comes to religion, communities, society and perceptions. Prejudices that divide people, create mistrust and cause hatred. Whilst Rishi Kapoor is the soul of the film, Taapsee Pannu is its heart. What a crackerjack of a performer she is. Apart from being absolutely stunning, her restraint in some of the most critical scenes of the movie is commendable. No excessive emotional rants, no melodrama, no inane scenes, this movie should be made compulsory for all to watch. A special mention about the judge. His final decree is something everyone should etch in their memories. Well done, Anubhav Sinha. More power to people like you.
