Ponderous and deadly boring. Nearly two hours to tell, slowly, what the original Dune told in about a quarter of the time. Prolonged battle scenes add nothing to the story most of which is obscured by the massive amounts of sand blowing about. Visually too dark and too dull. Very disappointing.
